Great on my scalp and super refreshing. Makes my locs soft and fresh. Might have to keep in the rotation
The scent is really nice and the only thing I like about this oil. It is so light, that I feel like it doesn’t get absorbed into my scalp at all and have so much product left on my hands. Even when I put it directly onto my scalp and distribute it, I’m still left with dry locs and an itchy scalp. Would not recommend
Thanks for the feedback. Our products are all created to be lightweight, for locs a little goes a long way and heavy products will actually be harder to absorb. To effectively moisturize your locs we recommend starting with a water-based product like our aloe spray then seal with the oil. Feel free to reach out with additional questions.
While it does smell good and I like the idea of have ACV in my shampoo, I feel like it stripped my hair of all the moisture it had and I had a lot of breakage in the tub after I got out. And after I twisted and dried my hair, my scalp was super itchy, almost to the point of irritation. Might try another one but idk
Hi there, thank you so much for the feedback. The ACV Shampoo is a clarifying shampoo which is meant to remove buildup and residue. We do recommend following up with our conditioner for any of our clarifying shampoos/ and or our refresher spray to add moisture back to your hair. Breakage would not occur immediately with the use of our shampoo, breakage happens over time with various factors such as daily care regimen, etc. If you did however experience irritation we do recommend to discontinue use as noted on the product and check ingredients to ensure there are no allergies.
